What is Stang Livestock

Our Story

Growing up my father instilled in me that when running a business your quality and customer service must be second to none. The past few years of growing a small business, what is now known as Stang Livestock, quality & customer service have continued to be my focus. 


I’ve had multiple offers to commercialize or outsource advertisement on social media or online platforms... yet I continue coming back to the old school word of mouth and repeat customers. Whether it’s educating new customers or going the extra mile for elderly, I’ve always loved to keep the customer service side very personable. 


What started as providing beef for friends and family has now turned into a second income for us! Thank you to all the repeat customers that have supported us over the years and those who continue to buy beef. We truly appreciate the small business support!

Our process

We are a small, family run, operation that has a couple animals processed every other month. We offer purchase of quarters, halves, or whole animals. 

The Meat

 A quarter consists of approximately 65% ground beef, 25% steak, and 10% roast.  


  • Ground beef is in 1 pound vacuum sealed packages
  • Steak cuts will be 1.5" (porterhouse, sirloin, T-bone, ribeye & tenderloin)
  • Roasts will be 3 pounds per (cross rib, chuck roast, & sirloin tip)

Feed

We don't use any hormones or antibiotics on our cattle. They are grass fed and grain finished. We've found the grain finishing gives the meat a nice ratio of marbling. 

Pricing

The price on every animal varies due to their difference in size. Quarters are priced at a price per pound (meat + processing) as well as a per quarter delivery fee. 


The delivery fee covers us picking up your meat and paying the butcher your processing, the only people you have to deal with is us. 

Pick up

We have a pickup day that's predetermined where you pick up your meat (typically a Friday afternoon from 2-6pm) at the White Pines General Store in Wyoming, MN.
